About the photo. There is always "that guy". This is a California Quail - they're ground birds, like chickens. But there's always "that guy" that has to be different. "That guy" is identifying as a house finch (bird feeder bird). We love "that guy" doing his thing, his way. This is the "My Way" blog - I started it when I got my dx for diabetes, but there has always been a fashion/color thing going on. You'll still read about the medical piece, but far more about the color and fashion part of my life.

Well...Happy New Year.

 Lot is new.

1 - We moved to a new state - we are now residents (for over a year) of the Silver State (Nevada).  We live in the high desert so drinking water is even more important!

2 - Life is not about having diabetes.  I’ve been “watching myself” but not hyper focused.

3 - Life is not about having diabetes.  I’ve been exploring *ME* - one of the things that popped up on facebook was “living your truth” and I feel different, in a good way.  More about that later.

4 - Life does include having diabetes.  So...new year, new start.  I restarted MyNetDiary with a goal of losing 50 pounds this year.
