About the photo. There is always "that guy". This is a California Quail - they're ground birds, like chickens. But there's always "that guy" that has to be different. "That guy" is identifying as a house finch (bird feeder bird). We love "that guy" doing his thing, his way. This is the "My Way" blog - I started it when I got my dx for diabetes, but there has always been a fashion/color thing going on. You'll still read about the medical piece, but far more about the color and fashion part of my life.

Live Your Truth Eye Shadow (Review)

So...I wrote about "Live Your Truth" as a general concept.

I purged my makeup drawer (well, put non-Type colors in a baggie and set it aside)

Went all in and order eye shadow in my Type.

Pros
  • colors are spot on by Type
  • nice assortment of lights, mids, darks.
  • colors are wet or dry, depending on how much saturation you want.
  • sold separately are magnetic compacts - three or twelve wells that you can mix and match however you want.
  • excellent lasting color
  • shadow cooperates with whatever brush you're using
Cons
  • it's a bit more expensive that most of us are used to (but still within "Urban Decay" range)
  • There's no way of marking in the compact which color is which (easily fixed with those little label stickers, but it would be great if the shadow came with a peel off sticker made to use with the compacts.)
 The website is LiveYourTruth.

Anybody can shop, LifeStyle members get free shipping.  Since I'm not giving any copyrighted info, you need to figure out what Type you should be buying for.  There's a quiz (at the top of the website page) that will give you a clue.  FYI, I was wrong about mine.
